MGA/LGA Days

What does everyone do when the MGA/LGA is in town?

January is MGA/LGA month at the Players Club. We try to complete setup and wrap up any on course activities in a timely manner before they start. Once the groups tee off we try to find projects that we can work on that are off the golf course. Today we worked on regrading the turfed area surrounding our shop. Here are some snapshots of that project...

Area after rough grade.

Ricardo and Angel work out the debris from the soil.

The final grade.

Another shot of the final grade.

This is just one of the "off the course" projects that we have worked on this month. Others include, pressure washing the equipment, painting the shop and organizing tools. These jobs allow us to keep productive and reduce disruption of play during events at the clubs.

November is the time of year when we begin to set our winter projects into motion. We have routine tasks that we perform every winter, trimming, pruning, etc...       In a perfect world we will be able to complete all of these jobs in a timely manner. However, weather, golf schedule and unforeseen issues often tend to disrupt even the best laid plans. We will prioritize our schedule accordingly to complete as many goals as possible with little to no interference to the golfing experience
