Associate Appreciation Week

The week of May 25th – 29th was Associate Appreciation Week at St. James.  The week was full of fun activities and gifts for all Troon Associates.  On Monday, all Troon Associates were given their own personal reusable cup with a lid.  This cup was not only a gift, but will also help our Associates to reduce the use of Styrofoam cups during the work day.

On Tuesday, all of the Associates at St. James were treated to Krispy Kreme donuts.  Let’s face it, who doesn’t love those circles of glazed goodness?  They were a big hit with our crew.

On Wednesday, the golf course maintenance, landscaping, and building maintenance departments all combined to have a cookout and an afternoon filled with fun activities.  The cookout featured hamburgers and hotdogs along with potato salad, cole slaw, beans, and cookies.  Leo Dowling and Kenny Thorne were on the cooking detail and cooked a total of 120 hamburgers and 160 hot dogs.  As of Friday morning, all of the food was gone…

After everyone had enjoyed their food, the crews enjoyed some fishing, games, and time to interact with one another.  Below are some pictures from the afternoon.

On Thursday, all Troon Associates were treated to a nice awards luncheon that included service recognition awards, and employee of the month and quarter awards.  Congratulations to Tom Glaser (Employee of the Quarter) and Janet Wall (Employee of the Month for May).

We are proud of the effort of all of our Associates on these crews.  They make The Clubs at St. James a wonderful place to be.
