Conrad Broussard - Director of Agronomy
Conrad grew up in Friendswood, Texas. He earned his turf degree from Horry-Georgetown in Myrtle Beach, SC. Conrad and his wife Tanya have two children Emily and Oliver. Conrad has had an impressive career at St. James that includes winning Troon Golf's Superintendent of the Year Award. In his spare time Conrad loves to spend time with his family, bass fish, and has authored 3 books.
Matt Knisely - Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Matt's hometown is Akron, Ohio. He graduated with a Turf Management degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Matt's previous work experiences include Portage Country Club in Akron, Ohio; Sea Trail Plantation in Calabash, NC; Rivers Edge in Shallotte, NC and Lakeshore Golf Course in Durham, NC. Matt has two children; Colin and Kaylee. Matt enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his children.
James McGinnis - Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
James "Mac" McGinnis was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, but grew up all over the world as the child of a military family. Mac was also military himself, serving in Afghanistan and Italy before settling in Brunswick County after his military career. Mac obtained his turf degree from Brunswick Community College and recently worked on the courses at Pinehurst. Mac enjoys riding his Harley and golfing in his spare time.
