Grayson Grainger - Golf Course Superintendent

Grayson is originally from Green Sea, South Carolina. He has been in the golf course industry for eight years. Grayson has been with St. James since spring of 2005. He received his Turf Management degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach. Grayson's previous work experience includes Eastport Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, SC. Grayson and his wife Lenzie have a beautiful dog named Ellie.  Grayson likes golfing, and watching sports.  Grayson is currently the head golf course superintendent over the Members and Founders Clubs.

Matt Graves - Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Matt Graves is originally from Amarillo, Texas.  He earned his turf degree from Western Texas College in 2004.  Matt has previously worked at Farmstead Golf Course and Country Club of Hilton Head.  Matt and his wife Danielle have two girls Reese and Chelsea.  Matt joined the golf course maintenance crew in May 2016.  Matt like to golf and spend time with his family.


Jared Sutherland - Golf Course Superintendent

Jared Sutherland is originally from Troy, Kansas.  He earned his turf degree from Kansas State in 2010.  Jared has previously worked at Wamego CC in Wamego, Ks and Beachwood Golf Course in North Myrtle Beach.  Jared has a son named Graeme who is 5 years old.  Jared currently lives in Calabash, NC.  Jared enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his son.
