Sodding Greens at the PC

        We have been re-sodding some of the weak areas on the greens at the Players Club. The weak areas on numbers 10, 16 & 17 are the product of insufficient sunlight and/or traffic concentration. We corrected the shade issues on number 16 by removing multiple trees surrounding the green. We plan to address the shade problems on number 10 and 17 in the coming weeks.
         Here are some pictures of the sod project and what you can expect to see on the greens at the Players Club. You will notice that the new sod does not match the color of the existing turf. The new sod is still dormant and was not colored over the winter. We expect the turf to green up in the coming weeks and become completely blended within a month.
